We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Czech data protection law.

In short

• There are no accounts, newsletters or comment functions on this site, and we do not collect personal data through it. The flight price tools run in your browser and ask for no personal details.
• We measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager; Google Analytics sets cookies. We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. We do not use advertising pixels.
• Our hosting provider processes technical data to deliver and protect the site.
• "Check availability" links take you to booking sites through our affiliate partner Stay22, which records the click.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) as our processor. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser and device type. This is needed to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU, including in the USA; it relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses. Visitor statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. as our processor. It uses no cookies or local storage and does not track you across websites. It records data such as the page visited, the referring page, browser and device type, country and page load times, and we only see aggregated statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers outside the EU follow the safeguards described under Hosting.

Visitor statistics: Google Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) and Google LLC (USA), to understand how visitors find and use the site. When a page loads, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies such as _ga in your browser. It records data such as the pages you view, the page you came from, how far you scroll, the links you click (including links to our partners), the routes you pick in our flight price tools, your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address; Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. We see statistics about visits, not your name or contact details. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and which pages help visitors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google may process this data outside the EU, including in the USA; Google LLC relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can object at any time, for example by blocking cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Links to booking sites

"Check availability" buttons take you to a booking site such as Booking.com through Stay22 Technologies Inc., our affiliate partner. When you click, Stay22 receives technical data such as your IP address and browser details, the page you came from and the hotel you chose. It records the click and forwards you to the booking site, so that the booking site can pay us a commission if you book; you pay the same price. Stay22 and the booking site may set cookies to attribute the booking to us. We do not pass your name, email address or other personal details to them. Stay22 decides how it uses this data; see Stay22's privacy policy. On the booking site, its own privacy policy and cookies apply, for example Booking.com's privacy notice. If you book, the booking site is responsible for your booking data.

A button labelled "Hotel's own website" goes directly to the hotel, where its own privacy policy applies.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz) or with the supervisory authority in your EU country.

Changes

We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
